"UNDER", the spectacular building designed by Snøhetta, is on course for opening its doors in 2019.
The restaurant is situated at Båly, a small town near Norway's southern-most point.
Snøhetta has designed Europe’s very first underwater restaurant. The prefabricated 1640 tons concrete structure was launched 27 July during night time. Early in the morning HLV Uglen was connected to the floating structure and the positioning operation started.
Uglen’s many possibilities for mooring systems are very useful for such operations, as the use of thrusters are limited with divers in the water
